Awards for Excellence
Since
1995, the National Sunday School Office has awarded the Billie
Davis Award for Excellence in
Christian Education
to Sunday School teachers who faithfully contribute to a high
standard of
discipleship as they teach God’s Word to
God’s people in Sunday School. Please help us to honor
hundreds of teachers for their ministry and dedication.

 Who
is Captain Commission & Zero Man? a
Captain
Commission is a super-hero
that encourages children to join a force of kids that are
reaching people around the world
through service and giving financially. He fights evil villains
who want to stop the Great Commission and stop this force of
kids as they reach the world. Zero Man will stop at nothing
to brainwash children to give to zero to missions.
The
District Office has a Captain Commission Suit and a Zero
Man costume that are available to all our churches
to use for children's services, etc. This is a free resource
that can be picked up at the District Office or mailed to
you. Captain Commission's job is to inspire the kids to give
to
BGMC and promote the Great Commission to kids. Zero Man tries
to influence
the kids to give zero to missions. Give Jenny a call at 308-384-1234

 Kids Quest
KidsQuest
USA is an outreach ministry of the National Children's Ministries
Agency in partnership with Assemblies of God churches across
America. The KidsQuest USA kids crusade is a 3-night event
performed using the KidsQuest kit. The kit is a prepackaged
children's crusade, complete with scripts, costumes, props
and sound effects. There are over 500 items contained in the
kit. The kit comes from the National KidsQuest USA office.
KidsQuest USA desires to partner with churches who can perform
the crusade with home missions churches, military installation
churches, Indian reservation ministries, Convoy of Hope outreaches,
inner-city ministries and other ministries across our Fellowship
who need an outreach
event for kids. The concept is simple: Churches helping churches
to reach kids until He comes! If you would like to schedule a crusade
for

 Character
Connex
Character
Connex is a school assembly program developed specifically
to teach good character traits to your students. This high-energy
program captures all the senses, featuring video, skits, puppets,
games, illusions, and audience participation. Character Connex
helps students leave with a better understanding of why honesty,
kindness, respect, responsibility, as well as other good character
traits are important to exercise and cherish.

CE
Directors and Children’s Pastors E-Group Lists
The
CE Department wants to include all of the CE Directors/Sunday
School Superintendents and Children’s Pastors in a bi-weekly
email list. This will give resource tools; national, district
and local upcoming training events and ideas for use in Sunday
School and Children’s church. If your director/pastor
is not currently on this list, and would like to be, please

Barrell Inflatable Available!
Our
buddy barrell inflatable is available to rent for $50. He is about
12 feet high and 9 feet wide. He can be used for missions banquets,
children's events or anything else! (This
inflatable is for display only.)

The
We Build People philosophy is flexible and adaptable. It is designed
to work in any church size, context, structure, or ministry philosophy.
Fundamentally, the We Build People philosophy seeks to help the
local church follow the model that Jesus used to develop His disciples
and launch the Church.
The
We Build People philosophy further seeks to help local church
leadership develop a church which reflects the Church described
in Ephesians 4:11-17 which builds and equips the saints to be
united and effective in the work of ministry.

BGMC
BGMC
stands for "Boys and Girls Missionary Crusade". Boys and girls
are on a mission-a crusade to help the missionaries. The money
raised through BGMC is used to provide our missionaries with the
supplies they need to reach people around the world. BGMC equips
kids to know, to care, to pray, to give, and to reach the lost.
BGMC
has a two-fold purpose:
1) to reach the children of the world and
2) to create a heart of compassion in children.
