The Novosad Family
Brad and Shelley Novosad and their children Isaac, Julia, Evan and Emma are Assemblies of God US missionaries currently serving as the District Chi Alpha Directors of Nebraska and live in Lincoln. They also work with Chi Alpha in the Great Plains Region. Their aim is to revitalize current campus ministries, help train and equip called and competent leaders, and pioneer new campus works.
Kevin is pioneering a Chi Alpha ministry at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. While studying Pre-Med/Exercise Physiology (with a desire to become an Orthopedic surgeon), Kevin’s life radically changed after receiving Jesus Christ as his Savior. He then began a youth ministry internship at Christ’s Place Church after sensing a burden for ministry. He worked as an Orthopedic Tech for 10 years in Lincoln. During that time, Kevin completed ministry courses through Southwestern Assemblies of God University while actively mentoring young adults, serving as an intern, and leading small groups. Kevin is married to Kate, and they have two children – Ethan and Elizabeth.

Their goals include developing student-led small groups, offering one-on-one discipleship opportunities, and creating an overall sense of community in the ministry.
