Overcoming Difficult Ministry Moments

Superintendent Toby Schneckloth shares some insights in overcoming those difficult times of ministry that most of us go through.

Multiply Council April 28-30, 2022

The Nebraska Ministry Network Multiply Council will be April 28-30, 2022 at the Crossing Retreat Center in Lexington, NE. This is a wonderful time to connect and worship the Lord with fellow ministers. This will be a time of prayer and seeking God’s will on important issues. We will honor and celebrate the accomplishments of our credential candidates in our Ordination Service. If you haven’t registered, please consider doing so. Your presence adds value to our Network family gatherings!

MINISTRY SPOTLIGHT

Omaha School of Ministry
Omaha, NE – Flatland Church
School of Ministry Director: Mitchell McNaney

What is the focus of your Ministry?

We focus on helping students and young leaders who desire to be in ministry, get to the place where God wants them to be at. Our desire is to build confident and effective ministers for the kingdom who will serve through the lens of the local church. Our goal is to prepare those with a desire to be in full-time ministry with a robust education, relevant and practical experience, and deep mentor relationships through hands-on ministry here at Flatland Church in Omaha.

Tell us about your history

Our first school year began in the Fall of 2020. Our first student came on board with us for that school year. In that first year, he learned and grew in his faith, his ministry competence, and overall confidence as a leader. He then went on to be a full-time worship leader putting everything he was learning with us into practice. This upcoming Fall 2022 semester will be our third school year.

How can Omaha School of Ministry benefit our Nebraska Ministers and Churches?

We want to see churches and ministries all over the Nebraska Network be filled with quality next generation leaders. Our ultimate goal is to train students here in Omaha, and send them out all over the state. They have been prepared to reach the various communities that make up our district. We hope to be a valuable resource for pastors who have students and young people in their congregation who want to go into full-time ministry. We exist to serve those who want to take the next step in their ministry journey, and to send them back out to make big moves for the kingdom.

How can our Network best get in touch with you for more info?

NEWS FROM THE NETWORK

Nebraska Ministry Network Sabbatical Testimony

Healthy Ministers

Thank you to the Nebraska Ministry Network for giving us a sabbatical last summer. We had planned to go to the Branson, MO area to rest and relax as a family and take in activities in the area. The morning we were to leave, we received a call that Lora’s brother had suddenly passed away. After speaking with Pastor Toby we decided to keep the hotel arrangements since Lora’s brother lived close to the Springfield/Branson area. While it was a difficult time, we did take some time to relax. While it did not turn out like we thought it would, God walked with us and we appreciated the opportunity the Network gave us.”
