On August 4, 2022 Pastor Andy Kaup donated a kidney to Pastor Walt Hooker. This is a post surgery update. Thank you Nebraska Ministry Network for praying that God would meet their needs and glorify Himself.

Kurt Coleman



Church name & Location: Chaplain at Tabitha Hospice in Grand Island and York areas.

Years pastoring in your current position: 2 Years with Tabitha.

Years in pastoral ministry: 23 years

Tell us about your family: My wife, JoLynn and I, have been married for 27 years.  We have eight children, two sons-in-law, and a daughter-in-law. We have six grandchildren, two of which are in heaven and one on the way.  Our family has been active in pulpit ministry, worship ministry, and adoption ministry for many years. We have adopted four treasures from Ethiopia and are very blessed with our large family. We and our older children minister in worship with Remnant Worship and our older children have held staff positions in youth, worship, and media in the past.

Pets: Three Dogs; Ellie, Finn, and Noah

Hobbies: Reading, Road Cycling, Grandkids

Favorite Sports Team: Huskers

Favorite Food: Mexican

Tell us a fun fact about yourself: When I was younger I was a successful race car driver. If God had not called me to ministry, I more than likely would have become a professional race car driver.
