This year’s Ministers Retreat will be held at Chadron State Park.

Nebraska’s first state park, Chadron State Park, is nestled among the distinctive buttes and canyons of Nebraska’s Pine Ridge. Take a couple days away from home and enjoy spending time in one of the state’s most famous landscapes.

REGISTRATION

There is no registration cost for this event for Nebraska credentialed ministers, their family or emerging leaders.

When adding a registrant, please “Search Profile” and don’t choose “Add Profile” unless you’re a Guest and not already in our Realm database. This prevents us from having duplicate profiles in Realm.

HOUSING

$115/night

22 cabins available

All have 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room and kitchen.

6 cabins have a queen bed in one room and 2 single beds in the other room.

16 cabins have a double bed in each bedroom.

Roll away beds available for $18 for both nights.

Cabins are furnished with bedding, towels, stoves, refrigerators, silverware and cooking utensils.

Housing must be reserved for both nights of the retreat. (Chadron State Park does not allow one-night rentals.) $230 total for 2 nights.

Housing will be released to the public on July 5th so make your reservations early.  No refunds/cancellations for housing after that date.

Check-in is 4 p.m.

Within a short drive: Agate fossil beds, Toadstool State Park, Hudson-Meng Bison Bonebed, Wind Cave National Park, Bison Herds, Museum of the Fur Trade.

A little further drive: Custer State Park, Black Hills National Forest, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument, The Badland National Park, Mammoth Site, Natural Hot Springs Mineral pools, Angostura Reservoir, Hill City.

PARK PASS

You’ll need to purchase a park pass for entrance to the state park. This can be done online or at the entrance to the park. A Nebraska Licensed Vehicle Park Entry Permit is $7 per day.
