Jimmy White was appointed as the Director of Men’s Discipleship for the National Men’s Ministries Department in 2016.

Jimmy has a passion for people to become fully developed disciples of Christ and is deeply committed to discipleship which is evident throughout his ministry including a focus on small groups, missions’ endeavors, and strategic pulpit ministries.

Jimmy earned his Bachelor’s of Pastoral Ministries from Southwestern Assemblies of God University and his Master of Divinity and Doctoral of Ministry from Oral Roberts University. He is an adjunct professor for Southwestern teaching in the Master of Organizational Leadership and the Doctor of Ministry programs. He has taught for the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, School of Urban Ministry, and the University of Phoenix.

Prior to his appointment, Jimmy was in full time ministry for over 30 years, serving as senior pastor in North Texas and Arkansas and a youth pastor in Arkansas. Jimmy and his wife, Renata, have been married since May 1989 and have three children and one grandchild.
